Julie Rosé 2023
Julie Rosé 2023
TASTING NOTES
This rosé exhibits an inviting light-reddish coral colour. The nose is echoed by a light and limey feel, followed by raspberries, quince, and watermelon fruit. The palate is light and elegant, limes and watermelon swings onto the palate and ends with a zesty feel. The aftertaste leaves the impression of sweetness and carries a mineral, smoky element on the finish.
WINEMAKING NOTES
The juice for the Julie Rosé is a result of the saignée method employed in the cellar. Juice is settled overnight at low cooling temperatures. We select a specific pure yeast culture to eliminate any risk during fermentation. The Julie Rosé is cleaned straight after fermentation to ensure the purity of fruit on the nose and palate. The Julie Rosé is bottled mid-year of production to ensure the inviting primary fruit is captured.
VINEYARD NOTES
The Julie Rosé is a combination of different red grape varieties handpicked for our red wine offerings. The rosé is made exclusively from free-run grape juice.
FOOD PAIRING
The Julie Rosé 2023 is perfect for a beautiful summer’s day but is also an ideal companion to Nicoise salad with seared tuna.
